Jodi-Ann Walker was born in St. Andrew, Jamaica on April 13, 1985. As an honorary Literatures in English graduate of the University of the West Indies, she has done work in a wide array of fields which include sales, marketing, customer service. She has also worked as a Teenage Writer in 2003 at The Jamaica Observer, which helped to hone, shaped, developed and piqued her interests in writing.

After having had a life changing experience while attending a prominent high school in Jamaica, and learning all that she could from these experiences, she has decided to write the book Breaking Forth!: Using the Light to Dispel the Darkness based on these occurrences. She has decided to use the laws and principles which dictate the operation of the spiritual universe, which reiterate those principles taught within the Bible, and practically apply those to her life as well as teach them to others through her writings.

Her life and personal philosophies are driven and supported by the scripture which states: "Now unto him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us... (Ephesians 4:20 [NKJV])." She also believes that all things can be turned around or reversed for a person's good as long as that person has an overwhelming love for God, and all things Divine, and your purposes are aligned with that Divine power.
